OTI Senior Policy Analyst Sydney Saubestre was quoted in POLITICO's Morning Tech 's coverage of the Children鈥檚 Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and its possible trajectory. Saubestre specifically comments on Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chair Andrew Ferguson's aims to update the legislation to protect more kids online.

Observers expect Ferguson to push COPPA rules to be more compatible with age verification technology.
鈥淚 do know that he likes age verification, so I would be surprised if he weren鈥檛 trying to move the FTC toward age verification,鈥 Sydney Saubestre, a senior policy analyst at 快活app官网鈥檚 Open Technology Institute, told MT.
